THE VIEWPOINT PROCESS
Shop Drawings
Once the initial design deposit and signed contract have been received shop drawings will begin. We will start with set up of your job account allowing access to our exclusive Builder Trend system which enables online collaboration and full viewing access to schedules, selections, photos, payments and critical project information. This phase will take approximately 2-4 weeks depending on the complexity of the design along with client review and approvals.
Engineering
Once shop drawings have been approved with all final changes we will complete the stamped engineering certification and load calculations. All projects will be custom engineered to accommodate municipal code, wind and snow loads as well as any other specific regional requirements. This phase will take approximately 2-3 weeks from the approval of shop drawings.
Fabrication
Upon approval of stamped engineering plans and receipt of the fabrication progress payment, manufacturing with be processed. Manufacturing time will take approximately 13-15 weeks and consists of material ordering, assembly and fabrication as well as motor construction. All timelines will be tracked and adjusted accordingly in our online schedule available for reference at any time during your project.
Shipping
Once fabrication is complete and the shipping progress payment has been received your enclosure will be packaged and prepped for shipping. Depending on your region shipping will take 1-2 weeks to arrive at your site for installation.
Installation
Please note all site work must be completed prior to arrival of your enclosure and be approved for accuracy prior to shipping. Depending on the level of involvement in your project, we offer full design & build services for construction, site work and installation as well as online consulting with your GC team to assure all details have been addressed. Most commonly installation will take approximately 1-2 weeks but can vary based on size and complexity.
